Susan C. Thompson Tuckett

I married Ron Chesnik in 1970. Graduated from Hollywood Beauty College, in Murray, in 1970. We lived in Riverton while we raised our 3 kids. In 1991 we were divorced. I moved to Cedar City, Utah, soon after my divorce. I wanted a new start in my life. I took a job as an assistant manager for the Abbey Inn hotel. In 1998 the owners promoted me to manager. I have managed the Abbey Inn since then. I raised my two girls in Cedar City. My son was 18 and on his own when my divorce was finalized. My son and oldest daughter have given me 5 granchildren. My youngest daughter married in August 2009. I married a Cedar Boy, Bob Tuckett, in 1996 and have been doing pretty good for myself since then.

I was so busy trying to get good grades in school that I didn't get to participate in many activities. I remember being in the German club. I have fond memories of good friends like The Madsen twins, David Cottingham, and Joe Jaramillo. I remember the greatest day, when we took state in Basketball!!! I remember the halls and finding "our heater" to stand by, before class started. I remember the teachers, particularly the heavy discussions with the Seminary teacher. I'm sure that there are not too many people who would remember me. I kind of stayed out of the limelight. It is fun to see some of the old photos. Not sure where mine is. Sadly I lost my senior year book. So this web site has been a blast! Thanks Tom for keeping it up. Great Job!
