In Memory

Glen D. Lemon

Sumbitted by Lucinda Madsen Craven:

Glenn Desmond Lemon left this old hunting ground doing just that-hunting with his son, Johnnie. Born in Heber City, Utah, son of Gladys Desmond and Royal W. Lemon. Glenn served as a medic in the U.S. Navy from June 1969-May 1975. He worked at the Salt Lake County Jail for 22 years and was very proud of his job and all he had accomplished through his hard work.

Survived by daughter, Heidi (Rick) McCauley, son, Johnathan Lemon, grandddaughter, Autumn, all of Salt Lake City; parents, Royal W. (Janet) Lemon, Salt Lake City; Gladys Hartzog, Missouri; one brother and two sisters, Dennis Lee Lemon, San Leandro, Calif., Rosalie (Larry) Stepp, Heber; Lawana (John) Clark, Salt Lake City.

Glenn... was very kind and fun to be around. He came to Hillcrest in his Senior year and so not many people knew him. He is my cousin. I have many fond memories of our childhood together. He lived a very hard life as a young boy. His father was an alcoholic and would beat him and my Aunt alot. I have always felt so bad for him. I witnessed some of the abuse he endured. I hope God will let him know that I loved him very much as my cousin.
