Great Site!... Thanks Tom. It's fantastic to walk down memory road and remember who and where we were.
I married a girl from Granger in 1970 (we met in front of South High while dragging state). Through the years, we owned homes in Murray, Riverton, West Jordan, Sandy, Holladay and at least 2 or 3 in Cottonwood Heights. We raised four great kids (one went to Hillcrest) who have all grown up to be really great people with great jobs in spite of me.
I worked at the family body shop (Les Jenson's), managed the body shop, left the body shop to sell Real Estate, went back to the shop and finally became a Real Estate Appraiser and left the family biz for good.
I got involved in politics, was a delegate to the State Republican Convention when Reagan ran, met a lot of politicians and celebs, decided politics was not for me. I've written songs (Whistle Jones, a country ballad, still plays up there on the radio at Christmas time).
Lived, Loved, Laughed and Cryed. Found my own way with God and Christ. Moved to St. George, built a home, sold it and lost a lot of money, moved back to Sandy.
Finally after too many years in Utah (I hate snow) we moved to Phoenix to escape the winter chill. All of our kids and some friends moved with us. All have loved living in the sun and other than friends and family left behind, we dont miss a thing.
Now Phoenix feels like it has become the East Bench of California (a million people have moved here since we did) so were looking at a move in the near future to Austin. It reminds us of home when we were young and has No Snow.
I'm still married to the same wonderful, beautiful women I married in 1970... Four great kids, 7 grandkids. Other than the economy and that we have once again lost a small fortune, life is grand.
So now we'll move to Texas and write more songs, write a novel, write poems, have an acre or two with animals, and relax with a favorite cocktail and a good dominican cigar under a massive oak tree that's older than I am.

Now friends I hope to do all these things and many more before I'm through. But right now holdin hearts with you seems like the better thing that I can do. And who knows maybe when this song is through we'll find our shoes and we'll be gone... If we find time... ...If we find time.
