Lynn Cowley

Female

Dickie Lynn Cowley

16 January 1951 – 26 January 2005

From Leann Shurtleff Cordon: Lynn Cowley passed away about 7 years ago from cancer (I'm still looking for more exact information). She was a cancer survivor for many years, but it recurred. I knew Lynn from grade school at Butler Elementary through graduation from Hillcrest and beyond. Lynn was one of the kindest, most generous people I've ever known. She was one of the best friends anyone could have. She always had a smile on her face and was genuinely interested in people. She was very down to earth and fun to be with... one of those people it just felt good to be around. She could light up a room. Although we lost regular contact after high school, it was always easy to pick up where we left off when we did see each other. Lynn loved her family very much and was a devoted wife and mother. She is missed by many.

Lynn was exactly what Leann said ...down to earth. She was easy to talk to and we had great times together. I have missed her and thought of her for years. What a tremendous loss to all who knew her. Lynn, I love you!
